B777 cockpit from scratch

Post by Capt777 »

Hi SimFlyers.

Anybody here trying to build a B777 with own hardware?
Not much documentation about this issue.
Hispa Panels has real 777 panels.
Who wants to fly the T7 with 737 gauges?

Some clarification.

I have OC4BAv4 and OCP4777X
All Open Cockpit IOCards necessary.
All components from Open Cockpit.
No P&P
Panels (MCP and EFIS) from HispaPanels for the 777.
Now I have problem to assemble my desktop cockpit.
7segments show the right numbers.
But the rotary will not cooperate att all.
Someone here that is Not a Plug and Play pilot?

Did you check your rotatary with SIOC /SIOC Monitor to see that it is correct.

If you have connected it to e.g. input 0 and 1 , you should see input 0 and 1 values change like this 0-0 1-0 1-1 0-1 0-0 as you turn the rotary.

If that is correct the next step is to verify that the IAS rotary statement in the script is using input 0 or modify the script so that the IAS rotary statement in the script is using input 0.

The next thing to do is to check in IOCPConsole with LOG ON

Thx Roar for your fast reply.

My cards behave very strange.
Might be faulty cards?

Thought I should ask on Open Cockpit Forum how to determent
wich card that could be faulty. USBExpantion or the Mastercard.

But alas! Spammers taking over OC Forum completly?

Sending u a PM Roar.

The user forum at Opencockpits.com is a user- user forum and will probably not give you any answers.
