EFIS Problem in Xplane

I have an issue with the 'Range input'[5-640] not working when using the Zibo Mod 738[v3.31] in X-Plane 11.26
Every other P/Button & control works ok. I have tried using the Laminar 737, the 'Range works ok in this plane but then the 'Baro' does not?
Currently using the Open cockpits EFIS Plug & Play module.
Tested all controls using SIOC. all working fine.
Can anyone please help.
Thanks.

When in XPLANE11 and the Zibo airplane, open SIOC/IOCPConsole and set LOG ON.

Now change the RANGE knob on EFIS hardware and see if a variable change is detected.

What do you see in the IOCPConsole log?

Hi.
Many thanks for you input.
Have done that. Please see below for results:
591=1 - ND_20
2398=1 - RANGE
592=1 - ND_40
2398=2 - RANGE
593=1 - ND_80
2398=3 - RANGE
594=1 - ND_160
2398=4 - RANGE
595=1 - ND_320
2398=5 - RANGE
596=1 - ND_640
2398=6 - RANGE

I can see that this ties in with the 'OCP4B737_XP.ssi scrip.
So I can only imagine that there may be an issue with the zibo mod software itself? as it works if I load the default Laminar 737.
your thoughts...
Thanks,

Zibo is under constant changes and in my view very unprofessional regarding variable changes/modifications and documentation.

I will try the version you have when I am back in my cockpit later this week.

But, It is strange that no one else has reported "your issue". There is many other OC4BA_XP users out there.

I will report back here.

Just tested OC4BA_XP in XPLANE v11.25 with Zibo v3.31g2 and the Captain-EFIS range knob worked fine.

As you are the only one reporting this issue,

I suggest you delete the Zibo airplane folder and reinstall:

unzip Zibo v3.31 and copy B737-800X folder to XPLANE11/Aircraft
unzip Zibo v.3.31.g and copy to XPLANE11/Aircraft/B737-800X
unzip Zibo v.3.31.g2 and copy to XPLANE11/Aircraft/B737-800X

Now do a new test of EFIS range knob.

Hi, thanks for the info.
Have tried that, but still no luck.
I have though the XPLANE v11.26 version.
Is there any other tests I can do in SIOC to try to narrow it down.
I would think its got to be something simple?

cheers,

It also works with XPLANE v11.26 for me.

You check in SIOC/IOCPConsole that moving the RANGE knob sets values to Var 2398

These values are sent to XPLANE11's DataRef "laminar/B787/EFIS/capt/map_range"

To read status of DataRef and/or set directly for test, add the Data REF Editor plugin. DO a Google search and download and install.
Just write "map_range" in the filter line at the bottom of the editor display

Check if Dataref change values in accordance with hardware changes and set values directly to see if ZIBo reacts to these values by moving its EFIS RANGE knob

Hi,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
Yep done that and yes, changing the range I can see the it reacts and values from 0.0000 to 7.0000 on the dispay.
so why does it not work?

so why does it not work?
If you set a value in the Dataref and the virtual knob is not moving, it is either a faulty XPLANE11 or Zibo installation or that another plugin is blocking it.

Your installation of OC4BA_XP works correctly, as for all other users.
