Plug and play modules go blank

Post by sreen74 »

Hi, I have 2 nav,2 comm, 1 audio, 1 adf and 1 tcas plug and play modules. I’ve started to have an issue where displays go randomly blank and stop working. Sometimes after a few minutes and sometimes after a hour or so. When I try and restart oc4ba software the modules will not work again until I restart my pc. I’m using modules with the pmdg ngx.
Any ideas.

First I would have updated SIOC to v7.03B2
if that doesn't cure the problem, send an email to roarkrsp@gmail.com using the email account you used when you ordered OC4BAv4
to get latest updated OC4BAv4.5

I believe this has nothing to do with OC4BAv4, but rather a USB issue.

it could be that the windows update enabled the USB power setting to Off. Try to disable so power is always On.

I am having a very similar problem. MCP cuts out randomly, sometimes reconnects with correct values, sometime with junk numbers.

Check and make sure you have latest SIC version and that USB ports are not set to POWER Off.
