I am doing some SIOC optimisations for my B737. I would like all displays off at powerup. But the radios (COM1, COM2, NAV1,...) and the clock displays all show 8888... They only change, when SIOC is started after P3D startup. Other diplays start in the dark state, like the AC/DC and the IRS displays. So there must be a difference, but where? Is this a question of the firmware in the different modules? Or has it to do with the USB ports? Perhaps you may know the reason and tell us.
Anyway, do you know a way to make all displays dark at begin? I can do it with a separate SIOC instance starting immediately, putting all displays dark and then close this special SIOC. The normal SIOC with OCP4NGX will be started only after P3D to make sure, that variables from airliner are updated. But perhaps you know a much easier way to do it.
