A new OC4BAv5 has been released as an UPGRADE package for existing OC4BAv4 users.

OC4BAv4 is discontinued and replaced by OC4BAv5 for new customers.

This new version comes with drivers and scripts for both the PMDG B737NGX and the new PMDG B737NGXu.

Drivers: OCP4NGX.exe for PMDG B737NGX and OCP4NGXu.exe for PMDG B737NGXu

Scripts:
The scripts can be used by both drivers.
OCP4NGX_v5.0.ssi is for those that have non-IDC Pedestal modules(COM1, NAV1 etc.)
OCP4NGX_v5.0P.ssi is for those that have the Pedestal modules connected via the IDC interface.
Old scripts can also be used. Important for those with modified scripts to fit their hardware.

The PMDG B737.ini file that is created when a user makes a new configuration file can be used for all
both PMDG B737 airplanes with P3Dv4 and the PMDG B737NGX with FSX and FSX-Steam.

Why is the UPGRADE from OC4BAv4 to OC4BAv5 not free?

The changes in the SDK for PMDG B737NGXu compared to the SDK used in PMDG B737NGX are not very huge.
But, coding and testing a new driver takes time and supporting another driver takes even more time,
plus the fact that only a fraction of PMDG B737NGX users will buy the PMDG B737NGXu, makes the customer base small.

The cost is therefore spread over a very few users.

Each sale earns me the same, after PayPal cost and taxes, as the cost of ONE beer in a restaurant here in Norway.

Hi Roar

Many thanks for tour great support and a fast update supporting the NGXu.

It works great and the fee is quite okay.
