OC4BAv5 Script (Solved)

Post by Wardie »

Hi Roar, I've only had a chance now to install OC4BAv5 and all my plug and play Opencockpits hardware works perfectly, thanks for the update! The only problem that I have is that all the non-plug and play for which I have altered the script for in the PMDG737NGX using OC4BAv4 no longer works properly in PMDG737NGXu.... no doubt I need to rewrite the script somewhere but I'm not sure how to or what to change in OC4BAv5. I'm sure it's a quick fix but I need your guidance please...... Sorry to be a nuisance!

As the installation of OC4BAv5 should not have deleted or altered your NGX script, you need to make modifications to the v5 script(s) to fit your specific hardware, using the NGX script as reference.

You can also try to use the NGX script you have. They should work also. But, the new 5. scripts have some small general updates.

There is no must to use the 5. script.

The configuration file PMDG B737.ini is used by both NGX and NGXu. SO, if you have the old script defined there, it should work for both.

Hi Roar, all works perfectly! I have imported and compiled the script into V5.0.ssi and all works as it should! Many thanks for your continued support in making our Opencockpits work with PMDG....... you really are a star!
