Switching Standby-Active on COM P&P

Post by Hans K »

Hi,
Since about 2 weeks I am using the OC4BAv5 software in my 737 homecockpit with CDU and radiostack units from Open Cockpits. The aircraft is the PMDG 737 NGXu. The CDU is the 737v3 CDU and in the radiostack I am using P&P modules: 1x COM, 2x NAV, 1x ADF and 1x ATC.
All is functioning well out of the box so far except one thing. Every time I switch a frequency from standby to active (and vice versa) on the COM unit I have to push twice. The other units with the same function (NAV1, NAV2 and ADF) switch correctly: after the first push. Is there something I have to do in the configuration settings?
Regards,
Hans

I just tested. It seems to be a bug either in the PMDG NGX code or in the OCP4NGXu driver.

I will check and update.

Fixes to COM1 and COM2 TRF button issues

Start SIOC.exe from SIOC folder
Click Edit Scrip in SIOC's window
Scroll down to the line for
COM1's TRF button code and double click line. In the next window make a chance.
change Var num 2283 to 2801
click OK
To fix COM2's TRF button code
Scroll down to the line for
COM2's TRF button code and double click line. In the next window make a chance.
change Var num 2301 to 2803

and Save.
